Located in Delafield, Wisconsin offering a modern, organic and quiet luxe living. Founded by designer and lifelong creative Dana McNamee, the studio blends natural materials, rich textures, and refined, collected details to create a home with warmth and soul.
In 2020, Dana and Shaun purchased this charming home in downtown Delafield and fully renovated its’ interiors transforming it into the Layered Studio. The space was thoughtfully redesigned to showcase Layered’s aesthetic and give clients a place to experience furnishings, textures, lighting, upholstery, and curated pieces in action. Every room reflects the studio’s philosophy: warm, modern, collected and deeply intentional.

Working alongside my family has always been a dream- the heartbeat of my creative journey and now it’s a reality I cherish every day. At Layered, we believe in creating spaces that tell a story, and there’s nothing more meaningful than building that story with the people I love most.
Cole, our oldest, leads Summit Professional Painting, a company he founded with an entrepreneurial, adventurous spirit. After beginning his career in healthcare, he felt called to create something of his own. Today he runs SPP with the same dedication, integrity and passion we value so deeply at Layered.
Ashton, our youngest, joined the family venture after earning his degree in Business Administration. He brings fresh energy, business insight, and a steady commitment to quality, working alongside Cole running SPP to grow a reputable, client-focused painting company.
Burly, my husband and creative partner for over 3 decades, is the steady force behind the scenes. Encourager, problem-solver, and hands-on visionary, he keeps everything operating smoothly and ensures every detail finds its place. With decades of experience, he connects Layered to trusted tradespeople and continues to inspire me every step of the way.
